A classical and choral celebration of Welsh music-making in London
13-14 November 2026
About the Festival
The aim of the Festival of Welsh Music in London is to celebrate the richness of our Welsh musical heritage, the talent of the current generation of Welsh performers and composers and to display the breadth of creativity and skill of mixed-voice choirs.
Taking place over a weekend in two central London venues, the festival features three main events:
A concert showcasing classic Welsh choir singing.
A competition heralding young Welsh musicians.
A gala concert celebrating new and familiar pieces by much-loved contemporary and 20th century Welsh composers.
Our hugely successul past events include our inaugural festival which took place 16-17 February 2024 and last year's events which took place 16-17 May 2025.
The festival was conceived and organised by Edward-Rhys Harry with the London Welsh Chorale.
